Now A Featured Attraction on the “EPIC 100 Bucket List”

Shenandoah Valley, Va. — Are you craving a new experience in 2025? Kicking off the new year is a major new tourism initiative, the EPIC 100 Travel Bucket List, which was jointly developed by the Virginia Tourism Corporation and the Shenandoah Valley Travel Association.
Organizers say that the list is meant to remind you of some of the Valley’s best and most well-known experiences, and to prompt the discovery of new favorite experiences.
As one of Virginia’s newest attractions, we are delighted to announce that the Virginia Scenic Railway appears in not one but two categories, “Family Fun” and “One of a Kind Attractions.”
The EPIC 100 guide is chock full of insider tips on everything from under-the-radar destinations that are budget friendly and have fewer crowds, as well as time-tested favorites that appeal to all generations. The attractions on this list were initially nominated by locals, and then a panel of judges voted on their favorites — whittling the list down to 100 of the best: 10 places across 10 categories.
