Cancellation Policy
Ticket purchases are fully refundable up to two weeks before your excursion date. If cancellation is received between 2-14 days of departure, a gift card will be issued. No refunds or credits will be given for prior-day cancellations or day-of-ride cancellations or missed trains. No-shows are not refundable. Gift cards are not refundable.
Pet Policy
Only official service animals are permitted on board; all other pets are prohibited. A service animal is any dog specifically trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disability. Comfort and emotional support animals are not considered working service animals.
Rights of Use / Use of Likeness Policy
Every ticketed guest may board on the condition that the Virginia Scenic Railway shall have the unrestricted rights and license to use his or her image, likenesses, name, voice, comments or other proprietary or public rights and that of any minor accompanying ticketed guest in any photograph and/or video and/or audio sound recording taken during the course of ticketed guest’s trip which includes but not limited to all property associated with the train such as yard, depots, event park, right of ways, departure and boarding areas for all purposes, without consent or compensation. The rights granted herein to the Virginia Scenic Railway are assignable.
