TRACK UPGRADE PROJECT— During March and April of 2025, rides on the Virginia Scenic Railway may be impacted by planned track enhancements in the Shenandoah Valley. Approximately 30 miles of new rail is being installed east and west of Staunton. We will continue train service as scheduled, but some excursions could be rerouted. Affected passengers will be notified in advance, and will be given the opportunity to ride, to rebook, or request a refund. The good news is that departure times, trip duration, and service class will remain unchanged; only the direction of travel may differ. We thank you for your support during this time and we look forward to having you aboard!
